Changes in Board Composition

Dolphins:

Just a short note to let you know that effective immediately, I am stepping down from the Board for personal reasons. I consider myself to be extremely privileged to have worked with so many dedicated volunteers over the past number of years.

I wish each of you fast swimming, good friendships and lots of fun! Will see you on the deck!

MORNING PRACTICE CANCELLED!

Due to the forcast, it is best to cancel early morning practice tomorrow. For those on a taper - we will get a practice to the front office sometime tomorrow if you can get in the water late Saturday or Sunday. We will post when the practice is available.

EAST COAST SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS

The following swimmers have qualified for the March 1-4 East Coast meet - CONGRATS -Evan Tynski, Bearon Bracegirdle, Zach Martin, Patrick Martin, Nathan Fennell, Julia Campbell, Anna Son, Zach Doiron and Maggie Finkle-Aucoin.

The meet starts Thursday March 1st - those in the 1500 female/800male free plus 13 and 14 year old males for the 4 X 100 Med. Relay. If others wish to go to warm-up/cheer then feel free.
Warm-ups Thursday 2-3pm
Friday /Saturday/ Sunday Heats 7:30 - 9am Finals 4-5pm.

Our only relay team is boys 13-14 - you swim relays Thur (4x100 MR) Fri (4x50 MR) Sat (4x50 FR)

Entry fees $50
Max # of events 6 plus relays.

Taper starts now for most of this group - lots of rest - eat well - relax - VISUALIZE YOUR SUCCESS !!!!!!!

Wow - What a Week!

Just want to echo Dave's comments - WOW - SDSC rocked the house today! Congrats to all our swimmers, lots of smiles and cheering, best times, first times, ECSC qualifiers, and a huge shout out to Zach Dorion for qualifying for age groups! Each one of you make us sooooo proud!

Also, check out today's Journal - also proud of Molly Wedge for qualifying for Olympic Trials in four events and taking home 7 medals in last weekend's AUS champs!

MEET and Monday Practice

WOW - what a meet - our Dolphin Family just had a GREAT day in the pool. There were a huge number of best times - we had three more swimmers qualify for East Coast Champs (Maggie Finkle Aucoin/Zach and Patrick Martin) and our first Canadian Age Group qualifier Zach Doiron. Congrats to all. Thanks to all our volunteers !!!!!

Saturday Meet

Hi Dolphins - We have a large number of swimmers attending the swim meet this weekend and we are looking forward to some fast swims. The entry fee for the event is $30 - Please pay asap as it will make life a lot easier for our Treasurer.
