Dolphins:
I can’t believe that it is back to school next week and then back to the pool! I am sure you are all as excited as I am about the upcoming swim year :)
Registration letters are on their way to returning swimmers. Please make sure that you either return your registration by September 12th or call me to indicate you are returning. We are excited that we have so much interest in our club – I think we might reach full capacity this year!
Some dates to keep in mind:
September 12th – returning swimmers must register
September 16 – 17th – open registration at Credit Union Place
September 18th – assessment for tier placement for new swimmers and those returning swimmers who have been invited to be re-assessed if outlined in your registration letter.
September 22nd – 1st day of the swim season!
October 15th – parents info night and registration for our first off-island meet. Swimmers will be traveling on the bus to Moncton! This is a great team builder – don’t miss the bus…
Please check back often as we are updating our website!

Sad News
Dear Dolphins,
It is with a heavy heart that I write to tell you of the passing David Harding. Dave died suddenly this weekend in the Magdalene Islands. Dave is the father of Josh and Andrew Harding of the Bluephins Swim Club. Not only did he leave his mark with the Bluephins, but contributed to our sport provincially through years of involvement with Swim PEI. He was also a critical player in the development of the East Coast Short Course Championships here in PEI.
I know that many of you knew Dave and his family and this message is very difficult. Warm thoughts to each of you...
The arrangements have not been finalized at this time; however, I will forward them when they become available. Please join with me in prayer for the family during this most difficult time.
