SDSC Information Update

Hi Dolphin Parents:

Just a few information items:

Oficials Clinic:
There is an officials clinic this Saturday, February 21, 2009 between 7 am - 9 am at CUP. The tier 2, tier 4 and regional / national teams are in the pool at this time so why not stay, enjoy some coffee and muffins with other parents and attend the clinic. Please let me know if you are interested by emailing tmtynski@pei.sympatico.ca

East Coast Short Course:
There will be some amazing swimming happening next week at the Cari pool. Over 350 swimmers from five provinces will be attending, including swimmers from SDSC. Go Dolphins Go!

This meet will be used as a practice run for Canada Games medal ceremonies. If your swimmer would like to volunteer for this ceremony, please let me know and I can forward further details.

The SDSC is hoping to partner with the Canada Games team to fundraise during this meet. We will be putting together some baskets to sell tickets on, so if you have something kicking around that you would like to donate - please let me know. Re-gifting is encouraged!

Thanks everyone!

BUS OPTION - Travel with Bluefins

Hi Again,
I have been asked to see if there are any SDSC swimmers interested in travelling on the Bluefin's bus. They only have about 20 seats filled and need more swimmers to make it worth their while.
Please let me know by 7 pm tomorrow (Wednesday) if you are interested. I will forward the numbers to the Bluefins and hopefully it will be a go.
If the bus is a go, we will arrange drop off / pick up on the East side of S'side (ADL parking lot or something like that). I will be in touch.

Sackville Meet - No Bus

We didn't have enough interest in taking a bus to Sackville this weekend to reasonably cover the costs so I will encourage those attending to car pool.

Thanks! Tanya
