Dear Parents / Swimmers:

It is hard to believe that we are back in the pool and another Dolphins season is upon us! The executive is very excited about the upcoming year as we have expanded our club in members, coaches and programming. We thank you for your patience during our assessment week. By this time, swimmers will have confirmed tier placement and all coaches will be in place. Thanks for your understanding!
A few things to keep in mind:

Communication
: Please check out our website blog for updates. This is our primary method of communication. Check often!!

Parents meeting
: Parent meetings are scheduled for the first part of October. Tiers 1A, 1B and 2 will be meeting October 13th at the Credit Union Place between 5-6pm. Tiers 3, 4 and Regional/National will be meeting October 10 between 10:30 – 11:30 at the Credit Union Place. It is CRITICAL that you attend as important information about your child’s swim season will be shared at this meeting.

Caps / Suits: I have had lots of interest in caps and suits. Caps will be provided to our new swimmers in October and I will be ordering more to have in stock for purchase. Orders for suits and goggles will be taken during the parent meetings.
In the meantime, our new swimmers can wear their regular suits from the summer.

Tickets: We have replaced our swim-a-thon fundraiser with ticket sales. Tickets need to be turned in by November 30. Please drop them off at the Credit Union Place and ask the front desk to place them in the Dolphins Box. Those who did not receive tickets – I will have them on hand at the parent’s meeting. If you want them before then, please make arrangements to pick them up by contacting me directly at 436-5794.

Registration / Payments: Can be dropped off at the Credit Union Place by asking the front desk to place in our locked box.

Volunteerism: There are still lots of space for volunteers. Please think about your ability to volunteer for things such as the social committee, web design / maintenance, policy development, and so on.

Yours in swimming,

Tanya Tynski
