Swim PEI is looking for a volunteer Team Manager and 2 Chaperones to travel to Fredericton NB to attend Atlantic Canada Tri-meet January 21-22. The Team Manager position will involve preparation work before leaving as well as attending meet. The Chaperones will travel with the Team and supervise and assist the swimmers when they are not on deck.
The Team Manager will work directly with the Head Coach to ensure the co-ordination and training arrangements for the Team and for the trip itself. Also the Team Manager will work with the Executive Director to ensure communication between swimmers,coaches and parents.
The duties of the Team Manager will include:
communicating Team events and Team practices to swimmers and parents
ordering of Team clothing
communicating details of Team travel to swimmers and parents
collecting any fees associated with the Team
further tasks as requested by Head Coach
provide police criminal records check
Duties of Chaperones:
travel with Team on bus
assist with travel between hotel and pool in Fredericton
ensure swimmers follow code of conduct
further tasks as requested by Head Coach
provide police criminal records check
